Fort Hughes

Fort Hughes (Caballo Island, the Philippines) was part of the US Army's, Philippine Department's, Harbor Defenses of Manila and Subic Bays. Although not mentioned directly by name, it features in the book Cryptonomicon as the fortress Bobby Shaftoe dies assaulting.
