This Earth Federation attack mobile suit is the first mass production model derived from SNRI's Formula Project.
The G-Cannon is based on the support configuration of the prototype F90, but any features that were not required for its artillery support role have been eliminated in order to reduce its weight and increase its performance. As a result, this miniaturized mobile suit largely outperforms the Federation's RGM-109 Heavygun. When this mobile suit's shoulder-mounted machine cannons are removed, it proves to be an effective close-combat machine as well. It has two other variants. One sports two VSBR's instead of shoulder mounted machineguns and the other variant sports even more firepower in the form of missles, cannons and other armaments.
