Formigara is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cremona in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 km southeast of Milan and about 25 km northwest of Cremona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,116 and an area of 12.7 km2.[1]
Formigara borders the following municipalities: Camairago, Castiglione d'Adda, Gombito, Pizzighettone, San Bassano.
