The Hellenic Army has mostly switched to a triangular Brigade pattern with Mechanized Infantry Brigades having two mechanized Infantry Battalions and one Tank Battalion and Armored Brigades having two Tank Battalions and one Mechanized Infantry Battalion. There are some indications that a reorganization into a square Brigade pattern (two Tank Battalions and two Mechanized Infantry Battalions per Brigade) is considered for part of the existing Brigades.
