Forgotten (song)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Forgotten is a song by Linkin Park. It's the tenth track from their debut album Hybrid Theory (2000).

The song is the definitive version of the demo track "Rhinestone", that the band performed in 1997 (when they were still called Xero and featured Mark Wakefield as their first lead vocalist). It is said to be written about the general thesis of someone trying to forget a difficult life problem. Also, the song "Forgotten" is notably different from most other Linkin Park songs because it starts out heavy, while their other songs usually come out with a more quiet, and techno (Papercut, Somewhere I belong, Lying From You, With You, etc.) beginning.

There is a remix of this song on Reanimation, LP's 2002 remix album. Its title is "Frgt/10".
