Forex reserves

Forex reserves is a term used to refer to Foreign exchange reserves in India. Counted in US dollars, India's "forex reserves" passed the $100 billion mark in December 2003. [1] India built this reserve after an incident in the early 1990s, when the country's gold reserves had to be pledged because of a balance of payments crisis. The reserves as of March 24, 2007 is US $195.957 billion.
