Forest Range Officer

A Forest Range Officer is an officer belonging to a State Forest Service in the Government of India. He is responsible for managing the Forests, Environment and Wild-Life related issues of a Forest range of a state or a union territory of India. He is assisted by other State Forest officials including subordinate Forest Beat Officers and Forest Section Officers.
