Fore-Word Press Ltd [1]is a UK based independent publishing house founded in 2004 by Malik Al Nasir. Published titles include Mark T Watson - Ordinary Guy - A collection of poetry & prose with a foreword by Jalal of the legendary Last Poets. Ayesha's Rainbow - a work of fiction by Asian author Rabina Khan, - launched by Rageh Omaar at Borders in London in Sept 2006. Tabbs & Bouncer - an illustrated children’s book written by child author Zakiyya Al Nasir and illustrated by Reilly O’Donnell.

Fore-Word Press have also commissioned a documentary film "Word-Up - From Ghetto to Mecca", show casing Mark T Watson’s poetry with guest Gil Scott Heron, The Last Poets, Benjamin Zephaniah and BBC Radio's Roger Phillips. Word-Up is due to be released in 2007 on DVD. Similarly the poetry in Mark's book has been set to music and features all of the above mentioned with the addition of percussionist Larry McDonald (Bob Marley, Inner Circle Gil Scott Heron) and drummer Rod Youngs (Gil Scott Heron, Jazz Jamaica) and is produced by Robbie Gordon (Gil Scott Heron, ACID Jazz, Brand new Heavies, Alexander O’Neil).
