Fore-Caucasus (Russian: Предкавказье, sometimes Ciscaucasia, Front Caucasus) is a territory to the North of the Caucasus Major (Большой Кавказ) mountain system of Caucasus and further bounded by Kuma-Manych Depression from the North, Sea of Azov and Kerch Strait from the West, and Caspian Sea from the East.
