The Ford Super Duty engine was a truck engine from Ford Motor Company.
A V8 engine produced in capacities of 401, 477, or 534 in³, the Super Duty was introduced in 1958 along with the FE and MEL series V8s. These engines appeared in medium and heavy-duty trucks of the time and were large, heavy, slow speed engines. They were never designed as automobile engines.
