[edit] Plot
A storm is raging, and the forces of Thunder and Lighting suddenly appears in town, made flesh in the form of two teenagers. They begin to roam the town, looking for fun. Unfortunately, their idea of fun involves wrecking everything in sight, regardless of those getting injured in the process.
Meanwhile, in Titans Tower, Beast Boy attempts to play a prank on Cyborg, but the joke hits the wrong target and ends up striking down Starfire instead. Furious, she calls Beast Boy a "Klorbag varblernelk". Before Beast Boy can figure out what kind of insult this is, they are alerted by Robin of the presence of Thunder and Lighting.
The Titans attack the two reckless teens and attempt to stop them. After a hard fight leaving the rest of the team knocked down, Beast Boy is left confronting Thunder and angrily tries to convince him that what he is doing is wrong. The mighty teenager's mind is stirred by Beast Boy's words, but Lightning intervenes, blasts Beast Boy out of the way and makes Thunder forget his words. They then take off, looking for more "amusement".
The Titans quickly recover and Robin makes them split up to search for Thunder and Lighting throughout the city. Beast Boy is left searching with a furious Starfire who still refuses to talk to him.
They quickly discover a spot where the two teens have been present, and while they investigate, Beast Boy repeatedly tries to apologise to Starfire, to no avail. However, Beast Boy's attempts are cut short when they are attacked by Thunder and Lightning, and during the ensuing battle, Beast Boy manages to overpower Thunder and again attempts to make him see the error of his ways. He repeats that what they call fun, is not amusing for others and will sooner or later hurt innocent people. But as Beast Boy begins to talk sense into him and Starfire manages to pin down Lightning, a mystical figure appears from the shadows, possessing a powerful laser weapon which he utilises against them, defeating Beast Boy and Starfire. He then approaches Thunder and Lighting, calling himself "The Ancient One". He ensures them that they are far more superior than human beings and that no one has the right to denie them having fun. Further on he asks them to follow him for more amusement. Thunder reveals himself to be worried if any people will be injured, but again Lighting convinces him that their way of fun is not wrong, and they join "The Ancient One".
Meanwhile, Beast Boy, upon discovering that a large portion of the surrounding stone wall has collapsed, horrofied believes that Starfire has been buried. Desperately he tries to find her, while blaming himself for his mischievous prank that infuriated her. Fortunately, she is unharmed, and an overjoyed Beast Boy again apologises to her, which she now happily accepts.
"The Ancient One" leades the two teenagers to a field just ahead of the city, where he tricks them into using their powers to awake an enormous flame monster. He commands the monster to burn the entire city; it obeys, and descends the slope leading to the city, burning everything in its way. The Titans assault the monster, while Robin engage "The Ancient One" in a duel of martial arts. While desperately trying to extinguish the flame monster, the rest of the team are ambushed by Thunder and Lighting. Beast Boy and Thunder again face each other, and Beast Boy finally manages to make Thunder realise the error of his ways, whereupon he turns against his brother and attacks him, insisting that their fun must stop. After a short battle between the two, Thunder makes Lighting realise that they need to use their powers to do good. They take off into the skyes, and use their powers to make it rain, which obliterates the monster, only meters from reaching the city.
Meanwhile, Robin has had himself pinned down by "The Ancient One", who gloatingly taunts him. However, as he stands as the victor, he is struck by a lighting from the sky and knocked down. It is revealed that his face was merely a mask, now cracked due to the lighting, but before Robin can react, he vanishes in a puff of smoke, leaving behinde the mask. Robin picks it up, realising that "The Ancient One" was Slade in disguise.
In the aftermath, Robin ponders on why Slade wishes to destroy the city, while vowing that he will find it out. Meanwhile, Thunder and Lighting give their thanks to Beast Boy and Starfire, who in turn thank them for helping defeating the flame monster.
