Foppe de Haan

Foppe de Haan (born June 26, 1943 in Lippenhuizen, Friesland) is a Dutch football coach.
De Haan is currently coaching the Netherlands national under-21 football team (Dutch: Jong Oranje). But he is especially known for his coaching of the club SC Heerenveen from 1985 till 2004, the longest time a coach worked for a Dutch paid footballclub. He brought the club back in the highest league of Dutch professional football, in 1993.
In 2003 he was given the Sport award and on May 10, 2004, after his final game as coach of SC Heerenveen, he was given the title knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau.
