Fond du Sac is a village in the northern part of the island of Mauritius.http://www.flickr.com/groups/fonddusac/ It serves the district capital of Pamplemousses. Fond du Sac are linked with the roads linking to the capital, Port Louis and to Flacq and Mahébourg. To some Fond du Sac is also known as 'Kasmakaya' and renowned for its notoriety a few decades ago.Plaines des Papayes and The Vale are the two most nearby villages of Fond Du Sac. The residents are very friendly and polite.Its very close to the northern coastal region,one can reach Mont Choisy beach in less than 8 minutes by car. Sunday Market is an event in Fond du Sac. I you are in the vicinity, make sure to visit the market very early in the morning.There are many shops restaurants and little newsagents.
