Folsom is the name of several places in the United States of America:
- The Folsom Library is a research library on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, located in Troy, NY.
- The Folsom Tradition is a name given by archaeologists to a sequence of old Paleo-Indian cultures of central North America.
- The Folsom Point is the prototype of a spearpoint or arrowhead that was invented by Native Americans and widely-distributed in North America. The first and oldest example of this was dug up near Folsom, New Mexico.
- The Folsom Street Fair is held at the end of September during San Francisco's Leather Pride Week.
- Folsom State Prison is a high-security prison near Folsom, California. This prison was made known to the outside world since country music singer Johnny Cash performed there and recorded the live album Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison.
- Folsome is the name of a progressive rock band from St.Marys, Ontario Canada.
