The music video for "Follow Me Home" was set in Warsaw during the Cold War.

The group play the parts of honeytrappers – beautiful women who manipulated high ranking military personnel out of secrets.

The Sugababes wanted to adopt a different angle and avoid the traditional ballad video, to show a different side to the song.

While there is no strong storyline to the video, it adopts a sombre mood, reflecting the sadness within the song.

The girls are all wearing original vintage fashion from the 70’s and 80’s and the video was shot in a hotel that was specifically built for the communist leaders of the time.

At these hotels they would throw lavish parties that would never be permitted back home in Moscow.

Fake fur is used in the video, confirmed by Heidi.

[edit] Charts

The single only made number thirty-two in UK singles charts, the group's lowest charting to date. It has sold to date 15,000 copies in the UK, making 'Soul Sound' (their previous lowest charting single) look like a success in comparison; 'Soul Sound' made the UK Top 30. Despite "Soul Sound's" higher peak position of #30 it is still the group's lowest selling single to date selling 10,000 copies in the UK while "Follow me home" has sold a higher number.

Even though the single failed to get realised in Europe, it did manage to chart in Asian countries like Indonesia and The Philippines. It charted in the official top 100 charts in both countries, but charted at low positions and it was not commercially realised as a cd single, only as digital single.
