Folkcore

Folkcore is a modern musical genre. The term can either refer to a musical group that is influenced by both folk and hardcore music genres, or, more specifically, to a group that plays punk rock and hardcore with acoustic instruments and a lo-fi sensibility. Folkcore also often features introspective lyrics, elements of drone rock, and occasionally tape sampling.
