Foinse (meaning Source) is the biggest Irish language newspaper in Ireland. It is published weekly on Saturdays and is available nationwide. Its stories primarily cover Irish language topics and the Gaeltacht, but there are also articles on current affairs, sport, travel, business and education, as well as reviews. Editorial pieces and sections for Leaving Certificate students also feature. It is published in Carraroe, County Galway and is printed in Tralee. It was first published in October 1996.
