[edit] AMA request

Hello Foamy Latte,

I'm Steve Caruso from the Association of Members' Advocates. :-)

I've read your request and I'm here to help out any way that I can with your issues on John Zerzan, Moorlock's actions, and Wikipedia policy. Right now I'm looking over the article and its talk page to figure out what the best plan of action would be to help you resolve your dispute. Once I've been able to size things up, I'll post my comments and thoughts and we can work from there, sound good? :-)

Peace! אמר Steve Caruso (desk/poll) 18:13, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

Alright, first there are some issues that need to be addressed before I can help you out as an Advocate.
  1. You need to be a bit careful about the contents of talk pages. I notice that one of your edits deleted some other users' comments.
  2. Your tone and language is a bit harsh for that of a talk page. The dispute resolution process will work much more favorably if all parties involved try to be sensitive to eachothers' positions.
  3. I see and concur with the problems that you have, as several of the references that you tried to delete on the actual article itself come from sources that are not appropriate under Wikipedia guidelines and should be removed.
  4. I also see instances within the article that may not be appropriate under Wikipedia's Original Research Policy and should also be re-written or removed.
I've taken the steps to move all inline referenced links to actual Wikipedia references so that everyone can see where they are coming from, and if you would like, I can intervene and delete the links that are not in line with policy as well as tag possible original research. Is this in line with your goals for this article? אמר Steve Caruso (desk/poll) 19:02, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
There appear to be no serious objections to the changes that I made, I think from this point on, you're good to go. If I can be of any further service, don't hesitate to contact me :-) אמר Steve Caruso (desk/AMA) 00:56, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks Steve. The changes you made look fair and seem level headed.--Foamy Latte 19:52, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
