[edit] Micro- and macromanagement

In the Company of Heroes article, it says that the developers combine conquering new territory and generating resources, trying to eliminate as much micromanagement as possible. From what I know and what the Wikipedia article says (Micromanagement (computer gaming)), micromanagement is controlling units and having an overview of the battle. If the game combines both taking new ground and resource management, it reduces the macromanagement (management of resources and things like building a base), not the micromanagement. In the Company of Heroes article, it says that the majority of RTS games depend on this formula, which would be correct as most RTS games have a seperate macromanagement and micromanagement whereas Company of Heroes combines this by removing the collection of resources in the traditional way by giving the player the resources after/through fighting. [edit] Talk:List of maps in Company of Heroes

Heya. Just a note to say that I've nominated the above talk page for speedy deletion, since it doesn't have an associated article. I've left a note at JNighthawk's talk page providing all the information at that talk page, and briefly explaining where a deletion review can be requested. Happy editing. :) Daveydweeb (chat/patch) 07:29, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Skyedance.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Skyedance.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Chowbok 01:48, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
