[edit] Proposed merger

M249 Squad Automatic Weapon appears to contain a lot of generic information about the Minimi, that belongs or is duplicated here. I don't believe there is enough M249 SAW-specific information in that article for it to stand alone after merger. M249 SAW should be a section of this article and M249 Squad Automatic Weapon should redirect here. Yorkshire Phoenix (talk) 11:49, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
