Fly fm is a private radio station in Malaysia owned by Media Prima Berhad. It was launched on October 3rd, 2005 and targets viewers aged 15-30 years old. Fly fm is the second most popular English station in the country according to AC Nielson Radio Sweeps.[citation needed]
This station broadcasts live from KLIA and is currently Malaysia's Fastest Growing English Radio Station according to AC Nielson Radio Sweeps.
Recently, Fly FM started a programme slot called "50 minutes of non-stop music" in which the crew will air songs for 50 minutes without commercials. It was proved a success as many people can now hear Fly FM as an "alternative" radio station.
Fly FM not only airs English songs, but also music in Malay. This makes Fly Fm one of the first radio stations in Malaysia to broadcast songs in more than 2 languages.
Popular DJs in this station are Phat Fabes, Ben, Steve, Shel, Jules, Basil and Prem.
