To add an article to the list, simply add the template to the talk page of the article with the following parameters:

 |importance=YYY

  • class: Options are FA, A, GA, B, Start, Stub, Cat, NA. If blank, this will default as Unassessed. Descriptions of the options can be found at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment. NA is "not applicable".
  • importance: Options are Top, High, Mid, Low, NA. If blank, this will default as Unknown priority. NA is "not applicable". This is the importance within fluid dynamics according to this scale.
  • attention: Answer yes if the page needs immediate attention, otherwise remove this line.
  • needs-infobox: Answer yes if the article needs an infobox, otherwise remove this line.
  • auto: This parameter is for the use of bots. It calls the {{stubclass}} template.

Edit the talk page, change the class= parameter to the appropriate rating, or add |class= if not already present, and save the page.
