Florida State Road 816

Known locally as Oakland Park Boulevard, State Road 816 is a 13.7-mile-long east-west commercial and commuter highway serving central Broward County, Florida. The western terminus of SR 816 is an intersection with the Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869) in Sunrise near Sawgrass Mills Mall and BankAtlantic Center); the eastern terminus is an intersection with Ocean Boulevard (SR A1A) in Fort Lauderdale. Other cities served by SR 816 are Lauderhill, Lauderdale Lakes, Oakland Park, and Wilton Manors.
Shopping centers are regularly-spaced on Oakland Park Boulevard west of its interchange with Interstate 95 (SR 9). State Road 816 snakes through residential developments throughout its length.
