From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Florida Holocaust Museum is a Holocaust museum located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Formerly known as the Holocaust Center, the museum officially changed to its current name in 1999. Founded in 1992, it moved to its current location in 1998. It is one of the largest Holocaust museums in the United States.

The museum houses an actual box car (from Gdynia, Poland) that transported victims of the Nazi regime to the concentration camps, which rests on original track. Aside from the permanent exhibit, the museum also has revolving temporary exhibits.
