Florencia 13 is one of the most notorious gangs in Los Angeles and also the second largest Chicano street gang (sureño) in Los Angeles County, with thousands of active and inactive members (with generations of family members). Florencia 13, like most large gangs, is divided into dozens of cliques (subgroups of a bigger gang). Among them are The 64th Street Locos, 85 St, Bagos, Malditos, Malos, Locos, Tiny Locos, Night Owls, Gangsters, Holmes St, Midnites, The Klan, Denker Boys, Neighborhood, Dukes, Dream Boys, Jokers, Tokers, Lil Rascals, Asesinos, and Termites. Florencia 13 also has a close alliance with the Mexican Mafia. The gang is sometimes mistakenly believed to be named after Florence Avenue, running east and west through south Los Angeles; in fact, the gang's namesake comes from the unincorporated area of Los Angeles County known as Florence-Graham. The gang's turf stretches from 110 Freeway on the west side to California Ave. In Bell and from Slauson to Imperial Ave. Florencia 13 is one the oldest gangs and has the most turf of all Los Angeles gangs. Florencia 13's main rivals are "All Niggers" Cheese Toast Crabs & All Slobs .., but other rivals include: 38th street, 18th Street, Mara Salvatrucha, All Watts:Grape Str., Morton Town, SS Watts, etc.), The Bratz (TBZ 13), Cyclones, Lennox, All Lynwood , Street Villans,CV Tortilla Flats. They also feud with all black & Asian gangs.

People riding the Metro Blue Line can usually spot Florencia 13 graffiti between Firestone Ave. and Slauson Ave.

Florencia 13 has a presence in Mexico and other states Salt Lake County, Utah and virginia. [1], as well as reported sets in Washington state, Chicago, and Kansas City.
