This is the user name that i've chosen to use on Wikipedia and several other programs and sites. It denotes being a Filipino. Flip from the derogatory term "F***ing Little Island People coined by U.S. navymen and XY for the male chromosomes.

My real name is Owen Layugan. I was born and raised in the Philippines and for the past 10 years have been residing here in the United States. I am an Ibanag. Aside from English, i also speak Tagalog, Ibanag, French, to a lesser degree Spanish, Bahasa Indonesia and soon Arabic.
Kayat ku met nga (kagyan) nga ammuk ti agsao ta Ilocano (ngem) haan. No agsarita nak ti Ilocano adda pay Ibanag ken Tagalog. (Marigaten) nak. ( I speak an Ibanag version of Ilocano)
To Ibanag speakers: caya' cu nacuan tu maggangua ta diccionario nga ybanaq onu ari maggangua ta libru na, nacua ta masita' nga habang dumacal y cadagunaccu nga ybanac ira anna y mas abbing anne nyo, ari da ngana magergo ta ybanaq. My interests surround that of my motherland/The Philippines, Filipino culture, Ibanags (my ethnic group), and to a greater extent, Malayo-Polynesian peoples, cultures and languages. for a person of my age (20), i have read extensively on the history and distribution of these people.
[edit] Conlanging
I am also a conlanger. For those who are unfamiliar with this term. It means someone who constructs (con) languages (lang). In addition to this i also create orthography for those particular conlangs i have created. I am familiar with Tolkien, but not completely submerged in his literature. My conlangs focus on Malayo-Polynesian/Austronesian languages.
