Someone removed the recent weapons added to Flintlocke's weapon loadout. The Quest-ion Mark and Dual Exclaimation Blades need to be noted. -Nekulor Dyrr-

I'm proposing this article be deleted. It doesn't meet notability guidelines. --Cymsdale 02:22, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

20,400 articles on Google isn't notable? It also made the WoW site front news page awhile ago. I've found far more articles on here in which the only hits are just Wikipedia articles on other sites. Stormscape 03:18, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
I do not believe it meets the standards for WP:WEB. If you disagree, feel free to remove the PROD tag. --Cymsdale 10:34, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
Actually there are a little over 900 hits in Google. When searching, please use quotes so that exact instances of the phrase will come up. — Indi [ talk ] 11:53, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Aside from the Google hits (I'm getting over 10k right now), no one can possibly say this article isn't credible/notable. It's gotten WoW Community Spotlight twice now, and PlanetFargo is in partnership with Gamespy, so if there's on article on Gamespy then there should also be one on Flintlocke. A real big thing is that there is an IN GAME ITEM that refers to Flintlocke ([1]). I seriously doubt that Blizzard would put in an item that directly refers to an incredulous source. Just putting this out there in case any one else is too stupid to read the entire article before requesting deletion or doesn't have the ability to read a number of hits on Google. O RLY? over 9000 hits still. You will find that depending on which Google you use, you will come up with a different amount of results. I would do an Alexa pagerank of it, but it'd just give me GameSpy's pagerank. Stormscape 22:56, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
I do believe this comic meets the notability guidelines, especially for a webcomic. However, I can't produce any specific proof, other than parroting that it's mentioned weekly on WoW Vault [2], and has been mentioned on the World of Warcraft main site [3] many times. According to this Google PageRank checker ([4]), the main portal redirect page for the comic ([5]), has a PageRank of 6/10. I'd say that's not too shabby for a webcomic.--Dreadknot69 05:22, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
I consider notability to be a rather dubious concept on an internet-based encyclopedia. But whatever, as it stands, this one is certainly a rather big webcomic about a rather big phenomena. I read it even tough I don't play Wow. Max robitzsch 07:18, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] english/american words

Before this gets out of hand, we have to decide which spelling to use. British or American. We don't want to have any edit wars over this. Stormscape 11:20, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] British or American?

WTF does that mean? uh, english please, thats it.

If they intercross does it matter?

But just in case it DOES: this is an American webcomic, so American spelling.

alot of WoW stuff is mixed, since almsot every fantasy world uses English-Europe with some English-America mixed in. it should be however it appear sin the comic, if it can otherwise it probably should be spelled the American way.

Please, whoever edits this: grammar in this article hasn't been 100% correct. If you edit/add things, please be sure to use proper grammar.

[edit] Bloodrose's Winter Veil Story

I think that instead of having this story written out in the article there should just be a link to the comic.
