Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

A is married to B, but there is something missing in his life. B tries her best to be the accommodating home-maker, but can never seem to satisfy A. A runs into C, an old friend who has just returned from abroad, and begins to develop feelings for him. One day, in a drunken stupor, he confesses this and C reacts violently to it. Everything spirals out of control from there with the unexpected result of A and B rekindling their love for each other or so they think.

The film is driven by the use of flashbacks.
