[edit] Plot summary
Father Abel Nightroad is aboard the airship Tristan en route to Rome when it is hijacked by a vampire named Alfred of the Fleurs du Mal, a dissenting sect of The Empire. Alfred kills most of the crew and many of the passengers declares that if his demands are not met, he will crash the Tristan into the Vatican. After landing in the middle of this plot, Alfred attempts to kill Nightroad, who is ejected from the ship and ultimately ends up on the roof. When Alfred attempts to finish him off, Abel activates the Crusnik 02 nanomachines to 40% and proceeds to slice Alfred in half as he attacks, before forcibly removing his heart. As he does this, Abel explains that he is a Crusnik -- a vampire who feeds on the blood of vampires.
