I suspect that this article was ripped from here: http://www.sfzoo.org/about/pool.htm I rewrote it a bit to reduce possible copyright problems, and, I hope, improve encyclopedianess.

I can't find any reference to Esther Williams using the pool except for this one zoo page, so I took her name out. Photos of Weismuller and Ann Curtis using the pool are available on the web. Note that that sfzoo.org page incorrectly calls Ann Curtis a "movie star of the 20's and 30's" when she was actually a swimming star of the 40's. Doctormatt 21:38, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
