This page and Fleadh have mostly the same information, culled (it appears) from the Comhaltas website. The Fleadh article has some information on other fleadhs. It could do with overall being made more informative (& organised), which I why I added the list of categories. Ewjw 19:11, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

A "Fleadh" can be more than just a music event. Perhaps the content from Fleadh should be placed in Fleadh Cheoil but the Fleadh article should continue, explaining to visitors that a Fleadh is just a festival. There are many words for festival in the Irish language which have been used by groups to promote there activities. For example, Feis is often used by Irish dancers to denote their events but the Wikipedia entry gives it as an arts or cultural festival. Fleadh can mean the same thing.
