Flesherin

Flesherin (Gaelic Fleisirin) is a small village near Portnaguran, Point, Outer Hebrides on the Isle of Lewis. The village has a population of around 100, and is home to the famous accordianists Tommy Darky and John 'Tonkan' Macdonald. Flesherin is also home to the mother of Stuart Braithwaite, from the Glasgow rock band Mogwai.
