Flegg High School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Flegg High School is a secondary school located in Martham, Norfolk, UK. It was built in the 1960s for boys and girls aged 12-16. Much of the school has been expanded over the years and is currently undergoing a £5m expansion to accommodate the inclusion of Year 7 pupils, bringing the school roll up to near 1000 pupils.
Flegg High is a Business and Enterprise College, and a National Hub for that specialism.
The school works closely with Norwich City Football Club on a programme to promote active citizenship for young people. This Fair Play programme encourages student leadership, inspired by links with the Starehe School in Nairobi, Kenya, a peer support scheme, which is supported and recommended by Childline, and various other initiatives including student councils and anti-bullying strategies.
