First off: No one is perfect, least of all me. If you want to read this, go ahead. But if you don't care about what I have been lectured on, then just go to some other page that intrests you.

Old talks and scoldings.

Please see Template:welcome for some links that may interest you. As it is now, you're just creating more work for other users. For example:

  • You did this, you should have done this.
  • You did this. I highly doubt anyone will come to Wikipedia looking to find info on "nanotech", the name of a health unit in a video game. Information like that should go into the article on Ratchet and Clank, as people would likely look for it there.
  • You did this. Removing a red link to a notable musician is a bad thing. If we don't have a page on someone, the thing to do is follow the link and write a good article, not remove the link.
  • You did this. That article is about seige in war. The entire article talks about seige in wars from ancient times and modern, and you tack on a sentence about a video game mode. That is totally unencyclopedic. The proper place for that information would be in the article on the video game.
  • You uploaded these three images and didn't provide any copyright information on any of them. There are huge banners on the upload screen that state what you need to do. The logo is considered fair use, but the other two images clearly aren't. If you do not have copyright permission for them, they will need to be deleted. You can tell me and I will delete them.

Please take time to review these and read the relevant links on Template:welcome as they will help you get off to a good start. CryptoDerk 14:13, May 8, 2005 (UTC)

I read through these and found that what I have done so far hasn't helped hardly at all. Thank you for showing me my mistakes so I can learn from them. I was wondering, because no other admins have looked into what I have done, would you be in charge of me becoming an admin? Thank you. Flamedude

No problem. I don't really have time to watch over people, but if you ever need help or need to ask a question, you can always use the Village Pump. CryptoDerk 17:18, May 8, 2005 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page you will be blocked from editing. CryptoDerk 18:07, May 7, 2005 (UTC)

Do not remove warnings about your vandalism from your talk page. It is considered a form of vandalism. CryptoDerk 18:51, May 7, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Your The PreHistory of The Far Side article

I greatly expanded it, describing the sections in detail. It may need some corrections regarding formatting, and I'd also be interested to hear any suggestions you or anyone else may have. marbeh raglaim 13:20, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks. I don't really have anything else to add, it looks okay. I'll check it later. -Flamedude

Is there any Wikipedia project page I can visit to get some help? marbeh raglaim 16:56, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
I don't think so, but you can go here for help.

[edit] Knights of Rock

The article Knights of Rock has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 03:54, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
