From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Like many others, I ran across Wikipedia by searching Google. I began editing entries on November 16, 2003.
I majored in the classics, then went on to graduate school in library science, then to a job as a serials cataloger, then to another as a cataloger of books on law. For the past twelve years or so, I have cataloged books and serials about music, scores, and sound recordings, except for one year spent cataloging rare books. I have studied various foreign languages, starting with Italian in childhood. Put all that together, and you can see why I chose the username I did. But my interests are not limited to those subjects. For example, my interest in authority control finds an outlet both at work and in the never-ending task of disambiguating links in Wikipedia.
