This is an alphabetical list of occurrences of Blue Hell in video games.
[edit] 18 Wheels of Steel: Convoy
Blue Hell is accessible when attempting to drive a truck rapidly towards a bridge's starting-point sides that is not completely barricaded, allowing the truck to flip over a ledge which might have been mistakenly placed near to the bridge, thus letting the player drive on water without nature affecting the actual RPM speeds. Driving far enough away will cause the truck to fall off the "edge of the Earth" indefinitely.
[edit] Driver
On Driver 1 Blue Hell is accessable by taking the main road northward, making a left U-turn, anc continuing north. The player will come to a place where the enclosed trees and the building should meet, but for some reason do not. There is an entrance and the player can drive out. However, the car is unstable and may tip over.
[edit] Full Auto
Occasionally, colliding with certain objects causes the player's car to flip upside down and clip through the ground, producing a strange, upside-down landscape featuring only the city background. Usually, the player would be transported back a few seconds later. Note that this glitch is much more common in the Xbox 360 demo disc found in stores such as Wal-Mart.
[edit] Gran Turismo 3
On Grand Valley Speedway, the left wall on the main straight can be driven though underneath the walkway bridge with the Mazda 787B Racecar. When passed, the player should continue driving until they reach a "hedge" wall. Behind it is a green "pond". The player should then continue into the "pond" until they reach Blue Hell, at which point they continue to fall in what seems like a black hole. The player will eventually fall from the sky out of the black hole onto the first turn.
[edit] Halo: Combat Evolved
On some occasions, especially in multiplayer mode, if a player is standing near a vehicle and another player "flips" it, the nearby player, rather than being crushed and killed, will be 'pushed' though the terrain, at which point they go into an unstoppable fall until the map fades and all that is visible is the skybox and the blue void beneath it.
[edit] Hot Wheels: Velocity X
Also, in the game Hot Wheels: Velocity X, crashing into certain objects at the right time will cause the car to fall indefinitely.
[edit] The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Blue Hell can also be found in some areas of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, where the player can fall through the ground indefinitely, or sometimes a long way before hitting some sort of bottom, killing the player.
[edit] RollerCoaster Tycoon
Blue Hell is present (but not for a player) in which an oversight in path-removal is present. When a footpath is removed, guests will fall down to the nearest ground. However, when an underground path is removed (and there are people on it) the people will descend through the earth. This will continue until they hit the ground, which is impossible since they are already in it. The people will thus fall to the lowest land elevation at which an object can be (0) and then keep falling, resulting in them disappearing (there is no data programmed for objects below 0 elevation). The only way to prevent this is to click on each guest and use the pincher tool to put them back on land before they disappear. However, if multiple people are falling, it is a good idea to pause first (pinchers can still be used).
Another example is that is a player lowers the ground under a guest and then rapidly brings it back up the guest will vanish within the earth and is impossible to retrieve.
[edit] SSX Tricky
Blue Hell is also found in several places in SSX Tricky, where grinding on a certain log in the Elysium Alps level will cause the player to grind through the surface of the map, and then proceed to fall indefinetly.
[edit] Sonic Adventure/Sonic Adventure DX
Blue Hell can be found if one uses certain glitches to get characters into levels they are not supposed to enter. For example, glitching Amy or Tails into Emerald Coast will allow the first area of the level to be played normally, but when the second part of the level is accessed, the character ends up far under the level, where there is a single spring admist the blue emptiness. It also appears in the sequel, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, where if the player goes into the neutral chao garden as Sonic or Shadow, walks up to a corner of the waterfall, and constantly homing-attacks that spot, the player will fall outside of the boundary. If the player strays far enough from there they will go into blackness, where the main area can be seen as a vase shape. When the player returns to the chao garden after that, the chao look like they are half-buried in the ground.
[edit] Spyro the Dragon series
In most Spyro games, the player can use the "swim anywhere" glitch to enter objects and see a blue void. In Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, Blue Hell can be accessed via the Aquatic Towers level. In the upper area, the player must swim around the invisible barrier to end up in a blue void. If the player swims around, they will land in invisible water, which is in this case Blue Hell. The player will die invariably in the invisible water, as landing in water turns off swim mode.
[edit] Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Blue Hell can be reached at any time, by traveling outside of the boundaries of the game by entering the "noclip" code into the command prompt.
[edit] Super Mario Sunshine
In Super Mario Sunshine, Blue Hell is accessible in many ways, and is thought to be a deleted pipe system entrance or a glitch where the land is not sealed correctly (in which case Mario would be allowed to fall into the ground).
Blue Hell in this case is not to be confused with the infinite void in the "secret" levels; that void was placed intentionally.
In addition to the Blue Hell found commonly in many areas, there is also the Black/Dark Hell which can only be seen when "glitch-rotating" the camera around Delfino Hotel when currently being inside of it; which is located in Sirena Beach. It has not yet been confirmed as to whether or not Dark Hell is similar to Blue Hell in those instances, and if there is even a way to get there.
[edit] The Simpsons Hit & Run
If the player goes to the cheat menu and enters the jump code, then goes to the first level and jumps in the water, the game will take the player to a place where the ground is sky blue. If the player jumps on the road, it will cause them to fall indefinitely. Jumping into buildings is also possible; the player will become stuck.
[edit] Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series
Tony Hawk games are infamous [citation needed] for containing Blue Hell, accessible when a player uses the Moon Gravity cheat to get atop tall buildings that were previously inaccessable.
