[edit] Summary

Deutsch: Flagge von Niger
English: The flag of Niger
Esperanto: Flago de Niĝero
Français : Drapeau du Niger
Slovenščina: Državna zastava Nigra

7:6 proportions, with three horizontal bands of equal height: red ("burnt orange") at the top, white, and green. The central red circle diameter takes at least half the total height of the central white band, and is exactly the same color as the top red band. The diameter (which is not normative) is increased to 85% here for better rendering at small sizes.

Official definitions of the two green and red colors come from the conversion of their Pantone definition:

  • The "burnt orange" color in the top band and circle is Pantone 166, i.e. RGB(224, 82, 6) = #E05206 on sRGB CRT screen (with reference gamma 2.2 without correction), or CMYK(0, 65%, 100%, 0) for process coated print.
  • The central white band is plain D65 reference white = RGB(255,255,255) = #FFFFFF (on sRGB CRT screen); process coated prints use another (darker, and more bluish) reference white.
  • The green color in the bottom band is Pantone 361, i.e. RGB(13, 176, 43) = #0DB02B on sRGB CRT screen, or CMYK(76%, 0, 91%, 0) for process coated print with D50 reference white.

Please note that the flag's ratio is not normative [1], and even the Nigeran authorities use various aspect ratios.
