Flash Gordon is a television show based on the characters of the Alex Raymond comic strip (of the same name), but featured its own storyline. The series was filmed in West Germany following World War II, and in the opinion of many sources on the Internet, the copyright of the series has expired (and is thus, in the public domain).

It's the year 2203, and Flash, Dale and Zarkov are members of the Galactic Bureau of Investigation. They soar around the galaxy in the Skyflash taking care of various villains on orders from Commander Richards.
