The Flash was a throwaway character in Amalgam Comics, first mentioned in JLX #1.

The Flash was allied with the Scarlet Witch, and had the assistance of Mercury. However, when injured by Prof. Kang, Mercury left The Flash to recover, and left him, being unable to forgive himself.

The Flash is an infusion of Quicksilver of Marvel Comics and Flash of DC Comics.
