White: cleanliness and beauty of the city
Yellow: sovereignty and prosperity
Blue: citizenry of the city

The flag of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is a variant of the Jalur Gemilang, the Malaysian national flag. It was introduced on February 1, 1990 following its centennial (100 years) as a local authority.
