FK Bežanija is a Serbian football club based in Novi Beograd. They play in the First League of Serbia, the top division of Serbian football.

The club was formed in 1921 under the name SOKO. Later the club changed its name to BSK (Bežanijski sportski klub). At this time the club played only friendly matches.

Following the World war II in 1946 the club changes its name to FK Jedinstvo. That year the club began competing in the regional Sremska liga, vontinuibg in that competition until 1952. In 1952 the club started playing its matches in the Belgrade League and from then on all their matches were written down.

Before the start of 1955/56 season, the club changed its name once again to FK Bežanija as its called today.

From 1965/66 to 1988/89 the club competed thru the first or second league of Belgrade.

In 1988/89 season Bezanija won the First league of Belgrade and bucked a spot to the Belgrade Zone.

The next season thare was more success the club won First league of Belgrade and went up to the Serbian League. This was by far the biggest achievement of then Jugoslavija especially when you look at the talent of soccer being played in those days. FK Bezanija competed in the Serbian League till 1992/93 and the next season went back to the First league of Belgrade due to technical difficultes. FK Bezanija has a great yout squad who have shown good results against their opponents.

Stadion of FK Bežanija is one of the most modern stadions in Serbia. The stadion can hold up to 10,000 spectatiors, it also has on of the best pitches in the country. Plans have been made to make 4,000 more seats in the west stands.
