"Fixxxer" is a song written by James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Lars Ulrich of Metallica for the 1997 Metallica album ReLoad. At eight minutes and fifteen seconds, it is the longest song on the album. It describes how a person (represented by a voodoo doll) has suffered physical and/or mental pain from his father. An example of this from the lyrics is "Tell me can you heal what fathers done"[1]. It is also about drug addiction and the recovery so that you can "fall in love with life again."
