Talk:Five Points, Denver

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Five Points is presently a low-income neighborhood in East Denver. Despite it's location on the map, East Denver lies in the middle western area of the city; west of Colorado boulevard and north of sixth avenue. Five points is on of many of East Denver's neighborhoods, including Curtis Park, Capitol Hill, and others. The East side of Denver has long time been a haven for drug dealing, crime, poverty, prostitution, and gang violence. Because of this, Curtis Park is by all means not a safe area among residents. The neighborhood is dominated by the crips street gang.

Is there proof of this? I realize crime is higher in Five Points, but haven't heard anything about gang related activities "dominating" the streets.Trodaikid1983 21:48, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Darrent Williams

Darrent was not killed in Five Points. I am deleting this. He was killed at 11th and Speer, which is within the Golden Triangle of Denver. 69.15.176.66 17:23, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
