Five Corners is the local name of an intersection of five streets in the Ironbound section of Newark, New Jersey. It is the convergence of Wilson Avenue, Merchant Street, Ferry Street (the Ironbound's most-well-known street) and East Ferry Street

In Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds, this is the location where an alien tripod is first revealed, by breaking through and rising over the street, as a large crowd of people watch, including Tom Cruise's character. The machine then murders several people and obliterating almost everything in sight with its Heat Ray before moving on.

Five Corners is the name of the intersection of Summit Ave, Newark Ave, and Hoboken Ave in Jersey City, New Jersey and the surrounding area. Five Corners was home to a factory in which Thomas Edison worked in 1869.

Five Corners is also the name of the intersection of New Brunswick Ave, State St, and Smith St in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. It is near the eastern end of the downtown area and is marked by the ten-story triangular Five Corners Building (also called the Amboy Towers). This building is the tallest building in the city.

Five Corners is the name of the intersection of New York State Route 32, New York State Route 94 and New York State Route 300 in New Windsor, New York. It is a commercial area linking three major state routes in one intersection. It has four gas stations for five corners.

Five Corners is the name of an intersection of New York State Route 7 (Duanesburg Road to the west, and Curry Road to the east), New York State Route 159 (Princetown Road just after an intersection with Mariaville Road), Broadway as an extension of Duanesburg Road, and Wallace Avenue. These are in Rotterdam, just south of the city of Schenectady. It is part of a larg suburban and semi-industrial/warehousing hub that includes freight rail connections in the area.
