Five Crowns

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Five Crowns is a proprietary card game for two to seven players created by Set Enterprises. The rummy-based game is played with a dedicated deck of 116 cards, in which the object is to obtain the lowest number of points after 11 hands of play. Players earn points for each of the cards in their hand by failing to go out during a round of play.

The card deck consists of cards with face values of 3 through 10 as well as Jacks, Queens, Kings and Jokers. There are five suits: the four French playing card suits (hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades) as well as a fifth suit, stars.
