Fitness bootcamp

Fitness bootcamps are often based on the military style of training. Usually held outdoors the activities include jogging, sprinting, plyometrics, push-ups, pull-ups, squats, lunges and a variety of other calisthenic exercises. An advantage of a bootcamp is that the large group dynamic will often help motivate the participants.

Another advantage of a bootcamp is that often struggling exercises can get very bored in a gym on a treadmill, bike or stairstepper. Getting into the outdoors with a group of people with the same goals can be a very refreshing approach to break the monotony of exercise.
