Welcome to my user page. I am a middle school teacher in Palatine, Illinois. I I first edited Wikipedia sometime around March 2004. A lot has changed since then. I briefly made the top 2000 users late in 2004 during the most uncluttered period of my entire life. An article on the Persian Empire which I was largely responsible for once got a favorable mention in the Sunday Times literary review. Beyond these modest achievements my distinctions around here are few, but I still enjoy making the occasional contribution when I'm not too busy.
