Hi. I seem to have gone on an inadvertant Wikibreak. Everything is fine, but multiple projects have simultaneously become very busy in the real world. My apologies, and I hope to devote more time to the project soon. --Fire Star 火星 15:07, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Welcome 一字師.
I've been a Wikipedestrian since February 2004, and a Wikipedia administrator since October 2004. Apparently, I'm also a member of the WP:1000, although I believe edit counts do not necessarily reflect on the quality of a user's contributions to Wikipedia. I am a martial artist and a teacher. For my username I chose a translation of the Chinese name for Mars, 火星 , as it is the first element of the word martial.
My editing time is mostly spent on articles relating to various Chinese martial arts and traditional Chinese medicine articles, as well as policing some of the articles concerning somewhat less orthodox groups who associate themselves with those and related subjects. I'm trained as a professional martial arts teacher and in Chinese and western medicine. I also take an interest in the origins of religion (especially Taoism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism and Hinduism), as well as studies related to language, comedy, prehistory, history, astronomy and traditional music.
