Talk:Fireman Sam

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Why was there no police or ambulance services in the T.V. series?

Have you not seen "Fireman Sam meets Policeman Sam" or "Fireman Sam versus Paramedic Sam"? HAHA. But really they don't seem to need them. No one gets hurt and the only 'criminal' is Norman.

The song on the other page, the one about Arson Sam, however funny, is not the correct song. Perhaps Wikipedia could create a database for funny parodies etc?

[edit] New Series

The new series has been broadcast and translated into several different languages, and is available on DVD. "The original series still remains the most popular"

This is opinion and needs a citation [citation needed] to provide evidence. I've added a tag to the text Steve-Ho 18:09, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

The reference to firefighter Penny Morris being gay, while funny, is unsubstantiated and removed. Remember children also research their favourite TV programs with Wikipedia.

[edit] Voice

From the article:

The series comprised 32 10-minute episodes and a 20-minute Christmas special. The narration and character voices were done by John Alderton

Did he do the Welsh or English version, or both? boffy_b 16:06, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

He did the English language one. I can't remember who did the Welsh one, but will find out - I'm currently working on the Fireman Sam website. --Irregular Shed 11:25, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
