Note: Although old enough to be in the public domain, image was apperently never published until the 2nd half of the 20th century and I have seen copies labled as copyrighted by University of Texas, which possesses the unique original image. Feedback on correct tagging for this image? PD, Fairuse, Copyrighted? Wondering, -- Infrogmation 14:41, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Copyright is from date of creation, not date of publication. therefore this is PD.  ALKIVAR™ 22:50, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)
The copyright on that page is for the text, not the image. It says "Images [that are] protected by copyright may not be reproduced without additional permission from the copyright holder." This doesn't imply that the image in question is under copyright. It can't be under copyright. --brian0918 13:15, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)
